Central 'Power Hour' Lets Students Make Choices

Central Middle School hosted a “Power Hour” last week, when students were able to take ownership of their education by selecting how they would spend 60 minutes of their school day.

CMS teachers developed 36 different activities to run in classrooms around the school. Each student choose an activity that interested him or her and reported to the classroom where that program was taking place.

The activities ranged from meditating and working out to calligraphy, poetry, coding and much more!
