Learn how to become a substitute teacher or short-term substitute teacher with Evergreen Park Elementary School District 124!

Requirements: 

Short-Term Substitute - Must hold an Associates degree or higher from an accredited institution of higher education or show completion of 60 semester hours of coursework.

Substitute  - Must hold a Bachelors degree or higher from a regionally accredited institution required or beginning January 1, 2023, enrolled in an Illinois approved educator preparation program and have completed 90 semester hours of coursework.

If you already have the required substitute teacher authorization certification from South Cook Intermediate Service Center you may participate in an interview and the new hire process on the spot.
