District 124 Board President Kim Leonard, Curriculum Director/CMS Principal Kathleen Prado, and Community Education Coordinator Jan Stanton have each won Distinguished Service Awards from the Illinois Chapter of the National School Public Relations Association.

The statewide Distinguished Service Awards program honors those whose efforts have enhanced education and conveyed its importance to the community on behalf of their schools and districts. Each of the D124 team members has used communication to excel in their roles.
