We understand some questions may arise for our parents. Below are a few frequently asked questions and their answers for your convenience. If you do not find an answer to a question you may have, we welcome your call or email.

When is the first day of school?

Children attending Evergreen Park Elementary School District 124 in grades Kindergarten through Grade 8 will begin the 2018-19 school year on Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2018. Student attendance hours on this day will be from 8:20-11:30 a.m. The first day for Early Childhood and Pre-kindergarten Program will be Thursday, Aug. 16, 2018.

What school supplies will my child need?

The supplies vary somewhat for each school and grade. A list of school supplies for the 2018-19 school year can be found by clicking on the School Supply Lists link.

Which school will my child attend?

School assignment is based on the quadrant you live in. Teacher and class/schedule assignment is available for pick up on Thursday, Aug. 9, 2018 from 11:30 a.m.-3 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.-6:00 p.m. at the school your child will be attending.

When are health forms due and where do I sent them?

Completed forms with the physician’s signature are due by the 11th day of school. Children, who are without completed health forms, will be excluded from school. Completed health forms should be returned to your child’s school to the attention of the nurse. Please visit the New D124 Families page to view the required health forms.

When can I enroll to the Extended Day Care Program?

Parent who have enrolled to the 2018-19 school year, are eligible to use our Extended Day care program. Registration will occur online. For more information about registration and program fees, please visit our Extended Day Program page.
