Welcome to Evergreen Park Elementary School District 124!
We proudly provide an amazing educational experience for students in Evergreen Park with programming from Pre-K through 8th grade with dedicated staff, supportive learning environments, and a community that goes above and beyond to #BeEvergreen.
District 124 uses an online registration process through the PowerSchool Enrollment system for all new and returning students. Our goal is to ensure the registration and residency verification process is smooth, efficient, and in accordance with Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) regulations.
NEW for 2026-2027 School Year
Please make sure to read all the information carefully as we have made changes. ONE important change for the 2026-2027 school year is ALL families will be required to upload residency documents to Powerschool Enrollment as part of the registration process.
Another important change is the registration timelines for new and returning students. Please see the table below for information on open enrollment dates.

Enrollment is open to all residents who reside within the school boundaries of D124. All district families are required to prove residency and pay fees annually. Please click on the link below to begin the enrollment process.
Kindergarten Families, if you HAVE an existing Powerschool Enrollment account, you will login using your current username and password. You will then add a NEW student to your account and complete all the required registration and residency information for the 2026-2027 school year.
If you DO NOT HAVE an existing account, you will need to create an account to begin the enrollment process.

Reminders:
Each student’s registration and residency will need to be completed and VERIFIED. If you have a 2026-2027 Kindergarten student AND a 1st through 8th grade returning student, you will only be allowed to complete registration for the Kindergarten student before June 22, 2026. Please return to the website on or after June 22nd to complete this process for all other students.

If your child/children WILL NOT be returning to District 124 for the 2026-27 school year, please call the school secretary to notify and begin the student transfer paperwork.

Residency Requirements
New this Year: Clear electronic copies or photos of these documents are REQUIRED to be uploaded to complete online registration and residency in PowerSchool. Please see the table below and have these documents ready to log into the system. All documents provided must be dated within the past 30 days and show the date, property address, and the parent/guardian's name.
PLEASE NOTE:
If you are a RENTER, please register your student using your current lease to indicate their intention to return for the 2026-2027 school year. Leases that expire before Aug. 31, 2026, will remain in NON VERIFIED status, and students will not be placed on class lists or receive middle school schedules until an updated lease is received and residency is VERIFIED. Your lease MUST cover Aug. 31, 2026, or your child's first day of school.
If a parent or guardian LIVES WITH A DISTRICT RESIDENT, the Parent/Guardian must provide a State-issued Driver’s License and two documents from Category B. The District resident must provide a State-issued Driver’s License, State-issued ID card, or Government-issued Photo ID documentation, and documents from Categories A and B.
In addition, the Affidavit Residency Verification Form must be completed and notarized by a district team member. This will require attending an OPEN registration or scheduling an appointment with the district registrar.

Additional Documents for NEW Students
- Original Birth Certificate with county seal (cannot be uploaded)
- An official, certified copy of your child’s birth certificate is required for enrollment. Hospital certificates or photocopies cannot be accepted. Birth certificates can be ordered online from VitalCheck.com)
- The Illinois transfer form is required for all new students coming from another Illinois school and entering first through eighth grade. Please contact your previous school to retrieve this form prior to attending a registration/residency event.
- If you are transferring into District 124 from another school district, please download, complete, and sign the Authorization For Release/Exchange of Information and turn it in to your old school before attending a registration event so that they may send us the student's records.
- Most recent Illinois Department of Human Services (DHS) health physical exam and immunizations
- These documents must be dated within the year of the first day of school for students entering kindergarten, sixth grade, or any student to the Illinois school for the first time. For more information, please review our Health Requirements for New Students
