Watercolor wash is a technique involving the application of diluted watercolor paint to create a semi-transparent layer of color over a surface. In this class you will have the opportunity to create a number of your own water color wash greeting cards.

Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is an essential lifesaving skill that can make a critical difference during a medical emergency.  This CPR class will provide participants with the knowledge and hands-on skills needed to recognize cardiac emergencies, perform effective chest compressions, provide rescue breaths when appropriate, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED). 
A $65.00 non-refundable deposit (check made out to Evergreen Park Fire Department) is required for non-residents when registering. (Please note:  There is no charge for EP Village Residents, however you must complete the registration process.) 
Maximum class size 10 people. Registrations will be handled on a first-come basis.

Learning First Aid can provide you and those you care for with peace of mind.  Upon completion of this class you will receive a certification card that is valid for 2 years.
The First Aid class will be provided to you by an American Heart Association certified instructor from the Evergreen Park Fire Department.  Individuals registering must be 13 years of age or older.
A $65.00 non-refundable deposit (check made out to Evergreen Park Fire Department) is required for non-residents when registering. (Please note:  There is no charge for EP Village Residents, however you must complete the registration process.)

Make Your Own Pizza…an all-time favorite kids’ dinner! 

Children must be accompanied by an adult.  Please show the number of children you are registering on the registration form.  Children registering together and coming to class with the same adult may be asked to work together.  Aprons are recommended.

Severe bleeding can happen anywhere and at any time.  Knowing what to do in the first few minutes can make a life-saving difference.  The Stop the Bleed class teaches participants simple, practical techniques to recognize life-threatening bleeding and take immediate action while waiting for emergency medical services.  Through hands-on instruction and practice, participants will learn how to apply direct pressure, pack a wound, and use a tourniquet effectively.  No prior medical experience is required – just a willingness to learn skills that could help save a life. Personal Stop the Bleed kits will be available for purchase for $50.00.

Fire extinguishers are important safety devices used to control and put out SMALL fires before they spread and become more dangerous.  The Evergreen Park Fire Department will teach you the different types of fires. You will then learn how to use a fire extinguisher.
