In the tradition of "Children First", Evergreen Park Elementary
School District 124 is committed to a community partnership that provides a
safe, nurturing learning environment that will develop responsible life long
learners. We believe technology will help increase and enhance student skills
and provide a cognitive framework for the application of these skills. We
also believe that technology will create an on-line collaborative learning
environment which enhances students' critical thinking skills by engaging
students in identifying, analyzing and reaching their best possible
resolutions to authentic global and community problems. District 124 will
provide technological opportunities to enhance student learning by developing
a seamless transition from elementary to high school and beyond, and enabling
them to become independent and creative thinkers.
