q       Patrols’ Rule-reminds all students the proper way to behave when a patrol is in the classroom or with the class during recess

q       Leave Your Attitude At the Door-demonstrates to students the importance of not bringing an attitude to school and what to do if their day has started out badly

 

q       Practice Makes Perfect-review of expected behavior when classes are involved in any type of rehearsal

 

q       Hats Off to You-reminds students that it is respectful to take off a cap when entering any type of building

 

q       Leave the Phone Until You Go Home-reminder to students that cell phones must be off and in their backpacks until they have left school for the day

 

q       Step Up to the Plate Before It’s Too Late-demonstrates how students should help another student if he/she is being taunted by someone and reminds students that if they do nothing they are as wrong as the person doing the taunting

 

q       Say “No” to Notes-reminds students that note writing/passing is not allowed at school at any time

 

q       Keep Your “Paws” to Yourself-reminds students that we do not “kid around” at school by play fighting, touching another person or pretending to trip someone

 

q       Walk Your Bike or Take a Hike-anyone riding their bike to school must walk it once they are on any of the sidewalks surrounding Northeast School.  If a student is given a warning and continues to ride on the sidewalk or blacktop the student will not be allowed to have the bike at school for one month.

q       It Pays to Behave-demonstrates how the student can earn points for all the celebrations for the school year.  The students earn a point for everyday they are infraction free.

 

q       Stash Your Trash-reminds students that there is an appropriate place to put garbage, including when walking home from school, so that the quadrant stays neat and orderly.

 

q       Put Your Pride to the Side-reminds students that the staff is here to help them with any problems, and if they just ask for help the staff member will assist them.

 

q       Stay on the Path or Face the Wrath-reminds students to walk on the sidewalk on their way home, and if they decide to walk on the grass or the street they will have to listen to the upset community members.

 

q       Don’t Be Robbed Do Your Job-demonstrates the importance of students doing any homework assigned so that they will not miss out on learning all they need to know.
