Financial Task Force Summary 10-11-11 

The District 124 Financial Task Force met on October 11 for its third meeting. Questions generated from the last meeting were discussed addressed in written documentation. Dr. Cody and Mrs. LaBella answered additional questions regarding information shared in the last meeting.

Mrs. LaBella presented information on the long-term facility needs and long-term financing (bonds). She reviewed the recommendations for facility needs as presented by FGM Architects. In small groups, members of the task force brainstormed ideas to decrease expenditures with the goal of a balanced budget. Suggestions were shared with the group. Discussions of increased revenues and decreased expenditures will continue in future meetings.
