Kathy Rohan, Board President Kathy Rohan has served on the Board of Education since 2007. Kathy graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and earned a Masters of Arts degree in Community and Organizational Development from Loyola University. Kathy currently works part-time at a local hospital in an administrative support position. She has been an active PTA member for over 8 years holding an officer position for two years. She was the co-founder of SERVE (a resource group for parent of children with learning differences) and continues to serve on the Board. In addition, Kathy has been a Girl Scout Leader for several years. Kathy’s work experience in Office Management, long standing roots in the community, and special interest in students with disabilities, help her contribute as a Board Member. |

Terry MacDonald, Vice-President Terry MacDonald joined the School Board in 2001 and has been Vice President since 2005. As a third term Board Member, Terry is looking forward to working with fellow Board Members, Staff, Administration and Dr. Cody on the many challenges that face the District.
Terry, a System Consultant for HP Products
Corporation, a leading Midwest facility supply distributor, was recognized as
the 2008 System Consultant for the Year. During the baseball season, Terry assists the Evergreen Park Basketball Commission and is also a member of the United Homeowners Associations. |

Beth Amado, Secretary
Beth
Amado was elected to the Board in 2009.
She currently works as a computer consultant and project manager for
IBM. Beth, who received her degree
in Mathematics from As an active volunteer, Beth serves as a parent representative on her child’s daycare facility board and helps coordinate one of the main fundraising programs in her parish. Beth has researched and is active in safeguarding the community and children from developmental influences that put many children at risk.

Bob McDonald, Member Bob McDonald, Certified Public Accountant, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and a Master of Science degree in Taxation. Bob works as a Managing Director in a national tax consulting firm. As a Member of the Board of Education beginning in 2009, Bob believes that his significant experience in budgeting/managing finances, as well as recruiting, training and developing people will be an asset while serving on the Board of Education. Bob serves on the Board of Directors of Christopher House, a multi-site organization, whose mission is to help educate children and provide a full range of services to help families thrive.

John Kennedy, Member John Kennedy joined the Board of Education in 2009. He has worked as a probation officer for the past 20 years. John holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal
Arts from UIC and a Master’s Degree in History form As a volunteer for the Evergreen Park Recreation Department, John coaches soccer and basketball for the Evergreen Park Athletic Association. John is currently a member of the St. Bernadette Holy Name Society. |

Kim Leonard, Member Kim has been a resident of Evergreen Park for over 30 years, and was seated on the Board in May of 2011. Kim graduated from Trinity Christian College and received her Bachelor of Arts in education. She currently teaches 3rd grade at St. Ethelreda School. Kim is looking forward to serving as the Board Representative to the Illinois Association of School Board Division Governing Board; voicing district concerns at the division meetings. Additionally, Kim represents the Board on the Finance and Insurance Committees. |

Dawn McNamara, Member Dawn was seated on the Board in 2011 and serves on the Policy, Facility and Negotiations Committees. Dawn currently works as a hair stylist and has had previous experience as a small business owner and manager. In her free time, Dawn is heavily involved with the St. Baldrick’s Foundation and has helped write policy, shaved heads, and organized events.
