Introduction
We have been learning a lot about dinosaurs. Throughout the unit we have learned that dinosaurs lived a long time ago. We determined that dinosaurs came in all different sizes and shapes.
After looking at fossils we learned that scientists used them to learn about how dinosaurs lived long ago.
Looking at the dinosaur's teeth can also give us information about what the dinousar ate. Some dinosaurs had flat teeth and ate plants (herbivores). While other dinosaurs had pointed teeth and ate meat (carnivores). Finally we discovered that some dinosaurs ate both (omnivore).
Each
student will have the opportunity to learn more about dinosaurs by choosing
one and creating a poster.

Each student will pick a dinosaur to research and learn about it. He or she will be responsible for learning and taking notes about the life of his or her dinosaur. The student will then create a "Wanted Dinosaur" poster that will be shared with the class and then displayed in the classroom. |
