Dear
Parents/Guardian,
Wow! Here we are at the end of another school year, I cannot believe
it. Please note that I have included
all of the June activities on the calendar so that you can be aware of
everything that will be going on at Northeast from now until school
closes. Please make sure students are
in attendance through the end of the school year.
Now that baseball and the outdoor
season has begun, I want to remind everyone that schoolwork still needs to be a
priority. I know that baseball and
being outside are very important, but the students still have more than five
weeks of school left, and they need to end the year on a positive note. It is very important that you send the right
message to your child. If he/she has a
game at 6:00, he/she still has time after school to complete all of the
homework. The teachers and I would be
most appreciative of your support in this matter, and your child will reap the
benefits.
With the last few weeks of school
rapidly approaching, this brings a very busy time. We have the Spring Show, the carnival, field day, and possible
celebrations, just to name a few of the activities. Many of these are earned activities, so please reinforce positive
behavior and ask your child about the Cool Tools. With the end of the year in sight, students find many more
distractions, and we need your support to ensure the entire year is a
success. I feel like we have made
progress as far as positive behavior goes, and I want to finish this year as
well as we started.
I would like to thank each and every
one of you for your continued support of Northeast and your patience and
support throughout the year. Northeast
is a wonderful place to be, and I am proud of all of the hard work that the
entire staff puts in. I hope that all
of you enjoy your summer and get to spend some quality time with family. Our sixth grade is finishing their careers
at Northeast, and I wish them the best as they move on to Central. Please remember that I am always available
to help with any concerns you may have, so do not hesitate to contact me at any
time!
Sincerely,
Jeff
